Training & Teaching

In addition to providing individual psychology sessions, I am also able to facilitate teaching, training or workshops to companies or services. I have provided multiple teaching and training sessions, to both students and qualified staff, about both common mental health difficulties and more specialist areas such as eating disorders or specific models/approaches. I have facilitated workshops for staff teams on aspects of managing stress and self-care, as well as promoting positive mental health and considering preventative measures. I have also presented at other workshops and conferences, on topics such as compassion, wellbeing, trauma and dissociation.

The Labour Force Survey estimated that between 2017 and 2018, 15.4 million days of work were lost due to stress, anxiety and depression. For individuals not in work due to these difficulties, they took an average of 25.8 days off sick. Mental health is something that affects us all, at both an individual and business level. Investing in staff wellbeing can have a positive impact on both your employees, and your service.

I am happy to design bespoke teaching or training packages, depending on your needs; please contact me with any enquiries.

“Really enjoyable workshop, presenter was knowledgeable but really approachable and made the material come to life. Lot of ideas to use in practice – personally and professionally.”
“It was a very stimulating day, and I actually went away from it feeling better myself.”
“It will help me be more compassionate to myself and recognise when I am being self-critical. I think this will have a positive impact on my work as I will be taking better care of me and can practice what I preach.”
“I really appreciated the opportunity we had to get together as a team and think about us and have a framework we can use in the future to shape team culture.”
