There is an increasing interest in, and appetite for, digital mental health solutions. This was fast-tracked during the COVID-19 pandemic, however a lot of clinicians still lack confidence in how to safely and effectively deliver mental health support via digital means. Hannah was keen to provide individuals and services with practical guidance, and to work towards establishing a ‘best practice’ framework. She therefore brought together authors from across the world to write various chapters regarding the topic, and edited the book ‘Digital Delivery of Mental Health Therapies: A Guide to the Benefits and Challenges, and Making It Work.’ The first half of the book covers cross-therapy factors such as risk and safeguarding, self-care and supervision, and working with complexity. The second half of the book focuses on specific therapies and how they can be delivered digitally.
Hannah has also been developing and delivering training workshops to practitioners and services interested in digital mental health, and supporting related research projects. If you’d like to explore how Hannah might be able to support your practice or service with digital delivery, please get in touch.
